TIME is a not-for-profit enterprise established in 2009 to offer business skills training, development guidance and support sessions to aspiring future leaders of the travel and tourism industry within a mentoring and peer collaboration environment.
The program operates within a structured framework to deliver agreed outcomes for each participant, and typically runs for 6 months.
Resource was engaged by TIME to increase awareness of the mentoring program, grow enrolments and sponsorship, and drive engagement with the community of TIME alumni.
We focused on showcasing the best stories from within the program—from the mentors and mentees themselves—and publishing them in a new ‘News’ section on the TIME website. These stories were broadcast on TIME’s social platforms and in a new e-Newsletter called ‘Good Times’.
In addition, we embarked on a campaign of travel-tourism-hospitality industry PR to raise the program’s profile, drive RSVPs to TIME events around Australia, and secure enrolments in TIME’s mentoring program.
In 2019, Resource’s PR efforts secured 86 pieces of travel industry media coverage, high levels of engagement with stories broadcast on TIME social platforms, and record program enrolments.
